Learn at your own tempo
I'm Justin Abraham Paul. I teach in person, at your own piano, across Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, Staten Island and nearby New Jersey, and online for students with a few months of experience. Children, adults starting from zero, and anyone returning to the instrument after years away.

I teach piano in person, on the student’s own instrument, and also online. Lessons are planned one by one: technique, reading, repertoire and the pieces the student actually wants to play. Lessons are taught in English or in Spanish.
Filter by length or package, choose in-person or online, and request the hour that suits you.

Three levels, marked the way a score marks them. Find yours and book the trial lesson.
Children from age six and adults who have never touched a key. Posture, reading and a first complete piece.
For students who studied before and stopped. The plan starts from what remains and advances at the pace the week allows.
Examinations, auditions and technique. Repertoire of the student's choice: classical, popular or jazz.
Send the student's age, your neighborhood and what you would like to play. Reply the same day.
$30 for 45 minutes, at your piano or online. No commitment afterward.
Sheet music, method books and a plan for the first month, from day one. You provide the instrument.

All times are New York time. Monday to Sunday, 8 AM to 10 PM — the last lesson starts at 8 PM, and the hours are spaced to leave travel time between students. Need an hour that is not listed? Ask.
Playing well and teaching well are different skills. Here is Justin playing, on video and uncut; how he teaches you see in the trial lesson, which is $30.

Type your neighborhood, your address or your ZIP code. The trip from the studio in Bay Ridge is worked out on the spot: travel time, distance, what the travel costs and what a 60-minute lesson comes to.
Write where you live. The time and the price appear on their own.
That place is not recognised. Try your ZIP code — or ask: the area covered is wider than what this can work out on its own.
Base: 462 Bay Ridge Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11220. A ZIP code is located by its official US Postal Service coordinates; the bridge or tunnel time is inherited from the nearest calibrated neighborhood — the Verrazzano to Staten Island, the tunnels to Manhattan. Times are estimates by car in normal traffic, and the price follows the travel supplement listed under rates. The exact figure is confirmed by message.
In-person lessons take place at your piano. The studio base is 462 Bay Ridge Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11220, and lessons are taught across Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, Staten Island and nearby New Jersey. Travel is included within fifteen minutes of the base; beyond that a distance supplement applies, listed under rates. Type your address or your ZIP code in the section above and the travel time and the price appear on their own.
